What Counts as Urgent
Most rodent work is planned. Some of it genuinely is not, and treating those two the same way serves nobody. We prioritise attendance where an animal is loose in living space, where a business faces an inspection or closure risk, where there is a sudden strong odour suggesting a carcass in the structure, or where a household includes someone whose health makes delay a real concern.
If your situation is uncomfortable but stable — droppings found in a garage, occasional noise in a crawl space — an ordinary appointment will serve you better and cost less. We will say so on the phone.
What the First Visit Does
An urgent call is about control, not completion. The technician's job on arrival is to establish what is happening, remove or contain the immediate problem, and stop the situation getting worse overnight.
That might mean locating and removing a single animal that has entered the living space, identifying and closing the route it used, or tracing a carcass so the odour can be resolved. Full inspection, exclusion and any cleanup are scheduled properly once the emergency is over.
Situations We Attend Quickly
Call Rodent Control Greensboro at any hour and you will get a straight answer about whether this needs someone tonight or whether tomorrow will do.
- A rat or mouse loose in occupied rooms rather than confined to a service space
- Commercial kitchens and food premises facing an imminent inspection
- Sudden strong odour indicating something dead inside a wall, floor or duct
- Rodents in a nursery, a bedroom, or the room of someone with a compromised immune system
- Visible activity during a property sale where timing is contractual
- Chewed wiring, which is a fire risk and should not wait
Chewed Wiring
This one deserves separating out. Rodents gnaw cable sheathing, and exposed conductors inside a wall or crawl space are a genuine ignition risk. If you have found stripped wiring, or you have unexplained circuit faults alongside rodent evidence, treat it as urgent and get an electrician involved as well as us. We will not pretend that is a pest problem alone.
Straight Answers on the Phone
When you call we will tell you whether this needs someone tonight or whether it can reasonably wait until tomorrow, and we will give you the difference in cost before anyone is dispatched. Overstating urgency would be an easy way to charge more, and it is not how we intend to run.
